He returned to the side for Saturday's 2-2 draw at Middlesbrough - a result which even hardened Boro fans say was a lucky one for their team - after being suspended for the home defeat by Southampton.
And, with Steve Lomas struggling, his presence is all the more vital to take on Becks and Co.
"I injured my hamstring but it is okay and after three days of rest I am now better," he reveals.
He admits to mixed feelings about the trip north last weekend, and says:
"After the game me and my team mates were happy and unhappy; happy because of the manner in which we played, showing good football, and unhappy because of the second goal conceded two minutes before the end of the game.
"But this week we have been very confident because if we play the same football at Old Trafford I think it will be a great game.
"If we can get a good result there I think it will be a good boost for the season.
"I feel the performance at Middlesbrough was our best of the season in terms of the way we played; even though we only got a draw, the way we played was good for us."
The Boro game told the story of the season, according to Eduoard, who adds:
"We played well in the second half against Leeds and we have been frustrated against Aston Villa and Southampton, too.
"In the first half of the season 'frustration' has been the main word; with just a bit more luck we would be higher up the table.
"But I hope the Middlesbrough game was the turning point and that we start to get good results as well as good performances."
