Raggy has gone back to the club he signed from for £800,000 for an undisclosed fee, and Glenn explains:
"We had an offer from the club that we bought him from, Bryne, and I felt that although we had to take a loss on the transfer it is right that he goes back to Norway.
"He was prepared to stay but I felt that I couldn't give him any encouragement that he would make the first team this year and he needs to play senior football at his age.
"I think it is best that he gets his career going back in the Premier league in Norway.
"He was a terrific professional and excellent to work with on a daily basis but he found it difficult to break into the team.
"The standard of the Premiership is a high as anywhere in the world; you could make a case that maybe the Spanish and Italian leagues are more technical but without doubt the Premiership is the most exciting in terms of spectacle.
"There is a huge gap to have to try and bridge but he gave it his all.
"I like the lad a lot and I wish him all the best back in Norway, and, who knows, maybe in a few years' time he will come back to central Europe."
