Michael Ferrante has joined Danish club Midtjylland on trial.
The Australian midfielder has yet to break through into the Hammers' first team squad.
Glenn Roeder confirms:
"He will be there for a week."
Secretary Peter Barnes adds:
"He will be training with them but is not allowed to play."
The club finished fourth in the Danish league last season and qualified for the UEFA Cup.
Michael has been capped by Australia at U-20 level.
Anwar Uddin, who recently had a trial at Cheltenham with a view to a loan deal, has gone to Southend on a similar arrangement.
