Dicks: Confidence Is Back

Julian Dicks, who returned to Upton Park for the first time since his testimonial on Saturday, reckons West Ham have turned the corner.
While recognising the 2-0 over Southampton was not a classic, he says:
"It was a poor game but at the end they got three points which will give them confidence, it moves them up the table and another couple of wins will take them to mid-table.
"They battled hard and hopefully they can go from strength to strength against Chelsea."
Of Fredi Kanoute's two goals, he says:
"I could have scored them - but you still have to be there!"
But he warns that is up to the players to show responsibility once they step onto the field.
"If you don't perform it is not down to the manager - it is down to the players," he insists.
