Jermain Defoe helped the England U21s to victory over the Greeks on
Friday night with the first goal in a 2-1 win at Ewood Park.
That means a place in the last 16 of the European Championships for England - and gives Jermain a record of five goals in his last six internationals.
Jonathan Greening, a player that Glenn Roeder looked at in the summer, set up the goal with an inswinging free kick for Jermain.
His glancing header beat Stefanos Kotsolis.
Michael Carrick came through the 90 minutes unscathed.
