Hammers defender Tomas Repka was sent off again in the
Czech Republic's World Cup play-off first-leg defeat
against Belgium at the weekend - his third dismissal in the space
of two months for club and country.
The 27-year-old received his marching orders just before half-time after being adjudged to have elbowed Bart Goor and has now been sent off six times in two years - twice for the Hammers this season at Middlesbrough and Blackburn.
However, as with his dismissals at the Riverside Stadium and Ewood Park, Tomas can once again feel harshly done by after television replays proved that contact had been minimal and Goor had over-reacted, clutching his face and rolling on the floor in order to influence the referee.
Gert Verheyen snatched Belgium's winner in the 29th minute, with the return leg to be played in Prague on Wednesday.
