Fredi Kanoute admits he should have scored against Fulham when he
only managed to hit the post.
With the sides locked at 0-0 in the first half, Fredi broke through only to hit the post when faced with Dutch giant Edwin Van Der Sar.
"I was a bit disappointed by the defeat because we had been good the week before and that was our first defeat at home," he says.
"But if I had scored it would have been much easier for us; it turned the game.
"I should have scored; it hit the post but it is hard to find a hole when you are in front of him; he is big and he takes a lot of space.
"Now we have a break, we have to concentrate on the next game, start again and hope to win at Charlton."
As for the much publicised clamour for him to get in the French side, he says simply:
"I do my best to get into the team but I don't care a lot about it because I want to achieve things here.
"I spoke with the Frenchmen in the Fulham team, but not a lot."
