Lives: Coventry
Occupation: Self-employed
Years Supporting West Ham: 37
Why Did You Begin Supporting West Ham: I watched them play in the 1964 FA Cup Final beating Preston 3-2 (on TV) and the name stayed with me from then on. I then of course followed them to the 1965 Cup Winners' Cup final and of course the World Cup Final a year later.
What Was The First Match You Saw Live: Away to Coventry City (my local club) in 1968. I think we lost 1-2, but seeing Bobby Moore doing his stuff only yards away, I knew I would be going to a lot more games after that.
Where Do You Watch Hammers Matches From: When I do manage to get to Upton Park it is usually the West Stand Upper Tier.
Who Is Your Favourite All Time Hammer: Trevor Brooking.
Who Is Your Favourite Current Hammer: Joe Cole.
What Is Your Most Memorable Match: The home leg against Eintracht Frankfurt in the semi-final of the Cup Winners' Cup in 1976, we were packed in at the South Bank and when Trevor Brooking and Keith Robson scored their goals it was absolutely fantastic, we also had a great time in Brussels despite losing 2-4!
What Is Your Most Memorable Goal: Di Canio's against Wimbledon last season.
What Is The Best Thing About Supporting West Ham: The fans and sometimes the players! I have experienced some great times at Upton Park - Coventry at home in the second leg of the League Cup in 1981 and David Cross's four goals at Spurs, there is just nothing like a joyous celebrating West Ham crowd.
What Is The Worst Thing About Supporting West Ham: Being lifted so high to be dropped down so low - Spurs at home this season in the Cup after the heroics at Old Trafford and the Stadium of light and just not having won a trophy for over 20 years.
What Is Your All Time Memory as a Hammers Fan: Frank Lampard's goal and celebration at Elland Road in 1980, we ended up having to fake scouse accents after the game when surrounded by upset Everton fans in our car!
