West Ham United will appear in two live games in the first half of
the new season following Sky TV's announcement of their
featured Premiership matches.
Hammers' home match against Newcastle United has been switched to Sunday, September 23 (4pm kick-off).
And the short away trip to Charlton Athletic will now be played on Monday, November 19 (8pm).
It was the visit of the Magpies in October last year that finally brought Hammers' their first home League victory of the season, thanks to Fredi Kanoute's winner.
But new manager Glenn Roeder will obviously hope to have chalked up his first win in front of home fans well before his former club journey down from the north-east!
Hammers' last visit to The Valley - last January - was also shown live on Sky, when Paolo Di Canio struck a superb equaliser in our 1-1 draw.
