But he has requested that those interested only turn up at twelve noon so that they can be shown around.
John says: "We have decided to let fans view the new development from the Bobby Moore stand and we would request supporters arrive at midday so that they can view the development.
"A senior member of staff will be on hand on a daily basis to answer any questions.
"This service will be available every weekday so that our fans can see the work in progress."
Visitors will not be seen at any other time of day, and the informal 'tour' is likely to take about 20 minutes.
Contrary to reports, it is not anticipated that West Ham's first three fixtures will be played away because of the redevelopment.
The first match should be on the road, with the Hammers playing at home the following weekend.
The fixture list will be released on Thursday (June 21).
