West Ham have issued a 'hands off' warning to London rivals Arsenal over England international Michael Carrick.
Hammers' MD Paul Aldridge has confirmed Gunners' interest in the talented 19-year-old midfielder but says he is going nowhere.
Aldridge says: 'We've not received a formal offer from Arsenal for Michael but we have known of their interest for some time. We have dialogue with them, as we do other clubs, and we know who's interested in our players and who isn't.
'The fact is Michael signed a new four-year contract just a few months ago and he's staying here at West Ham.
'The matter hasn't even been discussed with Michae, because we've made our position clear to Arsenal and they know there is no point in pursuing their interest in him any longer.'
