It's still early days in the 2001-02 Premiership, but Mark Viduka's winning strike at Highbury may prove to have massive repercussions for the title race come May.
Viduka's superbly taken goal gave Leeds their first league win at the home of Arsenal since 1994 - in fact the Gunners had picked up six consecutive victories in the league at home to the Yorkshiremen before Tuesday night.
Interestingly the goal came from Viduka's first shot on target in the opening two fixtures, with four other efforts from the Australian international missing the target.
West Ham's Svetoslav Todorov had a hard time of things towards the end of last season and will be looking for the second Premiership goal of his career against Leeds.
Todorov's frustration was clear for all to see against Manchester City last term when he contrived on several occasions to miss the target when presented with good chances.
And in the Hammers' first match of 2001-02 he was guilty of squandering another clear opportunity against Liverpool when clean through, firing a weak effort that was comfortably saved.
But to his credit he did win West Ham the penalty that Paolo di Canio cheekily converted to get his side back into the match and in the absence of Frederic Kanoute the Bulgarian will shoulder greater attacking responsibilities.
He is quoted at 15/8 with www.WHUFCBet.co.uk to score at any time on Saturday, but he will need to sharpen up if he is to achieve that.
Viduka on the other hand looked a handful in the Arsenal match and if Leeds are to collect their second successive win in the capital the Antipodean striker could be the man to inspire David O'Leary's men to victory.
www.WHUFCBet.co.uk quote another 2-1 victory in London for Leeds at 7/1, while this increases to 25/1 if Viduka's grabs the opener this time.
