Eyal Berkovic was on the scoresheet last night for Blackburn Rovers as Graeme Souness's team moved a step closer to the Premiership with a 4-1 win at Grimsby Town. Berkovic headed the second goal, while one from David Dunn and a double strike from Matt Jansen completed the scoring.
Elsewhere in the First Division, Ian Moore, who made one susbstitute for the Hammers against Southampton while on loan from Nottingham Forest in 1997, played a part in Burnley's 2-1 win over relegated Tranmere, a victory that gives Stan Ternent's team a chance of reaching the Play-offs.
