How we’re keeping COVID-safe
- Online Tickets
During the season 2020/2021, in the instance of games played with supporters, all the tickets will be digital to prevent the spread of the virus. This means that the season ticket cards for last season will not be active, there will be no access to the ground. Season ticket holders that are successful on the ballot, will receive an email with a PDF document that will be the ticket for the game, which can be printed or shown on the turnstile to have access to the stadium. In case the season ticket holder doesn’t have a smart phone, some windows will be open on the matchday to can provide a paper ticket.
- Social distancing
There are a number of measures to ensure social distancing takes place at London Stadium, please play your part and keep at least a 2-metre distance from other supporters and staff while at the stadium. Some of the measures introduced include:
- Queuing guides at catering kiosks
- Limited numbers in toilet facilities at any one time
- Empty seats in between supporters
- Dedicated staff to manage queuing and fans congregating in the concourse
- Face coverings
When at the ground, all supporters are responsible for their own health, so please ensure you maintain social distancing and wear a face covering or mask.
Any supporter over the age of 11 must wear a face covering at all times in the following areas:
- External areas on bridges
- External concourses
- Turnstiles
- Internal concourses / walkways
- Toilets
- Stands
- Seating Areas
- Staircases / landings
- In hospitality – lounges, escalators, toilets and all circulation areas
The only time when you do not need to wear a mask is when eating or drinking, and we would recommend returning to your seat when eating or drinking to ensure the concourse is kept clear for anyone moving around the ground.
If you are medically exempt from wearing a face covering under Government guidelines, you do not have to wear one, but you may wish to use one of the Government resources to demonstrate this, including the use of a GP letter and/or hidden disabilities card and lanyard. Any exemptions must be made known to the Club in advance of attending a match by email to: [email protected].
- Sanitiser stations
Hand sanitiser stations are available outside and inside of the ground, and we would encourage all supporters to frequently make use of them, as well as using the facilities in the toilets to regularly wash their hands. Supporters are also encouraged to bring their own small (50ml) bottle of hand sanitiser with them.
- Temperature checks
On arrival at the stadium, supporters will be subject to temperature checks by St John’s Ambulance. Anyone who returns a temperature reading of above 37.5 degrees Celsius on three separate occasions will be excluded from attending for the safety of everyone.
If you do feel unwell on the day of the game, please do not travel to London Stadium
The stadium seating plan for the return of fans has been created to ensure that there is at least a 2-metre distance between each supporter, including those that are within the same household.
This means that the three seats to the left and right of you, as well as the seats in front and behind you will be empty. Please remain in your allocated seats to ensure we can maintain these distances for the safety of everyone attending.
- Enhanced cleaning
We have implemented an enhanced cleaning regime, which includes a deep clean before and after each matchday.
The number of supporters that can use the toilet facilities at one time will be limited and the cleaners will continually ensure that all facilities are clean and safe. If you have any concerns about the cleanliness of an area, or you notice that any handwash dispensers are empty, please notify your nearest Supporter Liaison Officer.
- Reporting COVID-19 specific concerns
While our normal anti-social behaviour SMS reporting service will be available to supporters, you can also report breaches of COVID-19 guidance by texting details to the same number. To report any incidents, please text your block, row and seat location with the relevant key word to 0786404069:
