Cheers to...Felipe Santoro

Country: Brazil

How long have you been a Hammer? I guess it was early 2006 when I went on a student exchange programme at Oxford. I was turning 18 at the time and West Ham were on that great FA Cup run. The moment Anton missed the last penalty was the moment I realised I was a Hammer. That heartbreak felt so personal to me to this day, as if I was the one missing that penalty. It was only then I realised I loved that club already.

What is your first memory of West Ham United? Before the aforementioned trip to Oxford in 2006, I'd always hear about West Ham through Bobby Moore. When learning World Cup history, we always hear about Hurst hat-trick and the key roles the West Ham boys had in winning the World Cup. So I always had the utmost respect for the club even before falling in love with it.

What is your favourite memory? Winning the Conference League last year. I'm guessing that is EVERYBODY's answer here. There is nothing like lifting a major trophy with a last-minute goal. Bowen's goal will be forever one of my favourites.

Favourite player, past or present? Lucas Paquetá. Rio de Janeiro born, just as I am. World Class player. Fun presence at the club. Key player in last summer's win also.
