Mel Filis joined West Ham United in July 2021. 

The midfielder is a graduate of the Arsenal academy and spent the 2020/21 season with London Bees in the FA Women's Championship. 

Filis enjoyed a solid debut season in the Barclays FA Women's Super League, appearing 25 times in all competitions, scoring in the Continental Tyres League Cup group stage match against Brighton & Hove Albion in December. 

Filis hit 50th appearance for the Hammers in December 2023, and joined Charlton Athletic on loan in January 2024.
