Matchday Gallery | Hammers power past Ipswich on final day

West Ham United powered to a 3-1 victory over Ipswich Town on the final day of the 2024/25 Premier League season.

The Hammers went close to taking the lead early on, when home defender Axel Tuanzebe almost turned into his own net, but the hosts came back to enjoy a decent spell of pressure.

Nathan Broadhead forced a strong save from Łukasz Fabiański, and after Jarrod Bowen was denied by Christian Walton at the other end, Omari Hutchinson hit the post following some neat work down the right-hand side.

Ultimately, it was the visitors who edged their noses in front near the half-time whistle, Bowen this time profiting from an Ipswich mistake and teeing up James Ward-Prowse to notch his first goal of the season from point-blank range.

The Tractor Boys conjured up a strong response after the interval, and levelled in the 52nd minute through Broadhead, but Irons skipper Bowen quickly regained the advantage for his side with a left-footed thunderbolt from just outside the area.

Substitute Mohammed Kudus then doubled West Ham's lead three minutes from the end with what proved to be the winner, curling in his fifth of the campaign after some good work from Guido Rodríguez.
