West Ham United U23s to travel to Griffin Park for friendly

West Ham U23

West Ham U23s will travel to Griffin Park next Tuesday evening to play Brentford “B” in a friendly.

Kick-off is at 7pm and entry is free for any supporters who wish to make the trip to West London.

Dmitri Halajko’s side have been in excellent early season form and followed up an unbeaten pre-season with a convincing 3-0 win against Fulham last Friday in their PL2 season-opener.

The U23s will be making the long trip up to Newcastle this weekend before making the short journey across London next Tuesday.

Brentford “B” have enjoyed a busy pre-season that saw them travel to Denmark and play four games across five days. Neil Macfarlane’s side went unbeaten whilst on-tour and are sure to pose the Hammers a tough test.

West Ham U23s continue their league campaign at home on Friday 23 August when Reading are the visitors to the Chigwell Construction Stadium in Dagenham.
