West Ham United Community Sports Trust will hold a trial to fill the final places in their new Learning Academy this week!
The Learning Academy offers young people from all backgrounds the opportunity to enjoy and participate in a wide range of sports, while also progressing academically.
Working with Newham College, the Learning Academy will see teenagers aged 16-18 educated through sport, learning the transferable skills that are required by athletes.
Newham College will offer participants the opportunity to choose from a variety of sports courses, giving talented young sportsmen and women the opportunity to develop their skills and career.
The final trials for places on this fantastic course will take place this week and bookings are being taken for trial places now.
Trials will take place at the West Ham United Community Sports Trust, 60A Albatross Close, off Woolwich Manor Way, Beckton, London, E6 5NX, on Friday 6 September between 5-7pm.
The lucky youngsters chosen for places at the Learning Academy will benefit from:

*Gain the FA Level 1 coaching badge
*Excellent progression routes from Entry Level to University
*Work experience in the community
*Opportunities for employment
Learning Academy participants will be enrolled on a full-time Newham College course, where they will need to maintain a 95 per cent attendance record to keep their place.
