"It would be nice if some of the fans from the 80s came to watch," says TC, "and my old mate Frank McAvennie has promised he will turn up this time.
"If he does it will be the first time since 1988 that we have played together so I look forward to that.
"I had Paul Hilton alongside me up front when we played Heybridge and he didn't do as much running as Frank probably will."
Billy Bonds is playing and TC adds:
"It is great news; we are really pleased that a young lad called Billy Bonds with us - I don't know too much about him but he seemed determined to play.
"I don't think we will argue with that and even if he is 56 years of age he will probably be the fittest one on the pitch.
"We are going to play him in midfield alongside Alan Dickens, Geoff Pike, and Mark Ward so it will be quite a strong engine room.
"There certainly won't be any tackling from me but I am hoping to get a few passes from Bonzo and we have Alvin and Galey at centre half.
"Alan Devonshire would love to play but unfortunately his knee is not quite up to it any more so he is going to manage the team.
"Forfar have a game on Sunday so Ray Stewart can't play so we have drafted in Pottsy to right back; we won't let Ray hear the last of it if he has a better game."
Kick off on Sunday at Thurrock FC is at 2 o' clock.
