West Ham United Tack Night

West Ham United launch Track Nights to promote health, fitness and community spirit

West Ham United are excited to announce the launch of Track Nights, a dedicated run-club aimed at all runners, of all abilities in the local community.

The first Track Night will take place on Friday 14 November from 5.30pm-8pm GMT at London Marathon Community Track, which overlooks the Irons' iconic London Stadium home.

The event, which is aimed at bolstering community spirit, providing a welcoming running environment and championing health and wellbeing, is FREE to attend for all runners aged 18+. On the night runners can expect a live DJ, great atmosphere, as well as a range of pop-up stalls to help motivate runners throughout the winter months, with further details set to be announced.

Whilst the event is free to attend, those wishing to participate must sign up by clicking here, as spaces are limited and expected to sell out fast!

Local east London running club Mackyard Events, a local running club that supports community events, will supply support by leading the 5K run, including providing pacers to support those looking to break their PB.

This recent launch highlights West Ham United’s commitment to providing opportunities for fans of the Club as well as members of the local community to engage with the football club, by benefiting from the opportunity to participate in a fun, active and safe environment to run and meet like-minded people.

With popularity in running across London and the UK soaring in recent years, West Ham United hope to host many track nights in the future, to promote active lifestyles, help runners achieve their own personal goals and continue to have a positive outlook across its local community beyond matchdays.

Spaces for the Track Night on Friday 14 November (5.30pm-8pm GMT) are free but spaces are limited. Sign up now by clicking here.
