It’s here! UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 kicks off tonight (Wednesday 2 July), with an action-packed three-and-a-half weeks of international football lying in store.
Five West Ham United women’s team players have been called up by their respective countries for the 14th edition of the tournament, which will take place in Switzerland: Dagný Brynjarsdóttir (Iceland), Eva Nyström and Oona Siren (Finland), Kinga Szemik (Poland) and Amber Tysiak (Belgium).
And three of them get their tournaments underway this evening when Iceland and Finland raise the curtain of this summer’s Euros at Stockhorn Arena, Thun, at 5pm BST. For viewers inside the United Kingdom with a valid TV licence, the game will be broadcast live on ITV1.
