Obi is a tall, powerful striker who was a real focal point for the U16s, scoring 17 goals during the 2024/25 season, a campaign in which he also made is U18s debut. A Danish youth international, he joined from Arsenal at U15s.

He scored his first U18 Premier League South goal in just his second start in the competition, a 2-1 home win against Fulham.
