Like his older brother Jethro, Jephthah Medine joined West Ham United at U9s, before continuing to develop at the Academy of Football and signing his scholarship in the summer of 2025.

The younger Medine is an exciting wide player who displays great balance and agility in 1v1 situations. He created and scored over 30 goals throughout his U16s season in 2024/25.

His first year as a scholar brought a further nine goals and four assists in all competitions. One of just two players to have started every game as our young Hammers were crowned U17 Premier League Cup champions, Medine scored four of his goals in that competition.
