Andre Dike penned his Scholarship deal in July 2024 after an impressive run in the U18s which saw him find the back of the net twice in eight appearances at the age of just 15.

Throughout his time at the Academy of Football, Dike has shown he is an intelligent player who can play wide or as a striker. He likes to combine and link with other players, while also having excellent dribbling and finishing skills of his own.

Dike has also impressed on the international stage, having represented England at U16s and U17s level. In September 2024, Dike scored on his U17s debut in a 5-0 victory over Mexico.

He enjoyed a breakout season in his second year as a scholar, scoring a team-high 20 goals in all competitions including one just 30 minutes into his U21s debut, a 1-1 Premier League 2 draw against Leicester City.

His output with the U18s earned him the Dylan Tombides Award and Doris Bell Trophy given to our outstanding scholar.
