Imposing centre-back Reece Burke joined West Ham United from his local football team in Hornchurch at the age of just nine and has been in the Club's Academy ever since.

The 17-year-old has been a regular feature for Steve Potts' U18 side during the 2013/14 season whilst also earning selection to Nick Haycock's Development Squad where he made his bow in a 3-3 draw against Chelsea in November 2013.

Burke's performances earned him a first team debut in January 2014 when he came off the bench in the FA Cup with Budweiser third round tie against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.

2014/15

Toured with the first team at the Schalke Cup, playing against Malaga CF...scored the winner as the Hammers beat UC Sampdoria 3-2 in the Marathonbet Cup at the Boleyn Ground...made his competitive home debut as th Hammers were defeated on penalties by Sheffield United in the second round of the Capital One Cup on 26 August 2014.

2013/14

Makes his first team debut as a second half substitute against Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup with Budweiser third round defeat…
