New Stadium progress report

The 'West Ham' seating pattern in the newly-configured East Stand is nearing completion
The 'West Ham' seating pattern in the newly-configured East Stand of London Stadium is nearing completion.

With the Hammers' first game at their new home on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park just weeks away, the finishing West Ham touches are now being applied to the former Olympic Stadium.

Among them, the words ‘West Ham’ are taking shape in the East Stand, which will house well in excess of 20,000 Hammers fans on a matchday.

Beneath them sit the iconic crossed hammers, all part of the Club’s new seating design, which features the famous claret and blue, while preserving the iconic shard design synonymous with London 2012.
