Chadwell Chatter - Winston Reid

West Ham United defender Winston Reid gives his views on working under new manager Slaven Bilic and looks ahead to the Europa League games

Hello everyone

Everything is going well. We had a bit of a short break and now we are getting back into it.

I am fully fit now and have just come into the training ground to do a few things before we start again on Monday.

Everyone is looking forward to working under the new manager. It is nice to have a fresh pair of eyes looking at everyone amd I'm sure it will be good for the Club.

Everyone is looking forward to working with him and the staff around him. He has managed at the top level for several clubs. I have met him briefly and he seems a really nice person.

All the players are eager to come back and work with the new management and see what ideas they can put into the team. We will see how it goes.

The Club needed to do this at this point of time and the Chairman have made that decision to bring someone else in. We are looking forward to having a fresh start.

We play our first game in the Europa League next week and it will be good to have a good run in the competition.

Hopefully we can use it to kick-start our season and get our fitness up nice and early. We will see where it takes us but I think the Club would like to get into the group stages and see how far we can go.

If we can get off to the start like we had in the Premier League like last season up until Christmas it will be fantastic for us and we will see how far we can go. We will take it game by game.

See you all soon
