Battrum enjoyed a superb 2022/23 season with Kevin Keen’s U18 side, making 26 appearances in all competitions as the young Hammers won the U18 Premier League South and the FA Youth Cup.

The versatile youngster scored his first goal of the season in dramatic fashion, drilling the ball into the bottom corner in extra time as the Irons beat Ipswich Town 4-2 in the FA Youth Cup quarter-final.

Battrum also made his Premier League 2 debut in March 2023, coming on as a substitute for Mark Robson’s U21s in a 5-0 victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

After an impressive campaign, Battrum signed professional terms with the Club ahead of the 2023/24 season.
