A versatile young player, Scarles joined the Academy of Football at eleven years old and has worked his way through the age groups. 

Playing for the West Ham United U18s at just 16 in the 2021/22 season, Scarles would make 25 appearances in all competitions, scoring once. 

Scarles' immense 2021/22 season would conclude with the signing of his Scholarship deal in June 2022.

The versatile defender made his first team debut in a 3-0 UEFA Conference League victory over FCSB on 3 November 2022, with the wing-back playing a starring role. He was rewarded with his first professional contract in December 2022.
