West Ham United boss David Moyes has made three changes to the starting XI for Sunday’s Premier League clash against Fulham, in the wake of Thursday night’s UEFA Europa League defeat at Bayer Leverkusen.
Edson Álvarez, Nayef Aguerd, and Danny Ings will all feature from the start at London Stadium, in place of Tomáš Souček, Kurt Zouma and Aaron Cresswell.
Alvarez, who returned from a two-match Premier League suspension last weekend against Wolverhampton Wanderers, replaces Souček in midfield.
The Mexican then served a one-match ban in Europe in midweek, and makes his first home start since the 1-1 draw with Aston Villa last month.
Meanwhile, Aguerd makes his first Premier League start since the 2-2 draw with Burnley a month ago, and he comes in for captain Kurt Zouma to bolster the defensive ranks.
Further changes towards the top of the field - owing to a likely change of formation – sees Danny Ings handed just his third Premier League start of the season, looking to lead the line alongside Michail Antonio in attack.
Elsewhere, seasoned goalkeeper and skipper Łukasz Fabiański starts between the sticks for the third league game in a row, with Konstantinos Mavropanos lining up in the centre of defence just ahead of him.
Vladimír Coufal and Emerson retain their places on the flanks, while James Ward-Prowse, Lucas Paqueta and Mohammed Kudus complete the midfield line-up.
Antonio has scored two goals in his last five games and lines up at the top of the field.
West Ham boast a wealth of young talent on the substitutes bench, with the likes of George Earthy and Divin Mubama looking to earn valuable senior minutes. Earthy will be looking to build on his debut in UEFA Europa league recently, while Mubama has appeared 12 times in all competitions this term.
