Tomáš Souček in action for Czech Republic against Norway

Souček and Aguerd enjoy friendly wins

Tomáš Souček laid on an assist in Czech Republic's 2-1 friendly victory over Norway on Friday.

The West Ham United midfielder was the provider for David Zima's equalising strike in Norway, as the visitors came from behind to ensure their preparations for this summer's UEFA European Championship received a boost.

Manchester City youngster Oscar Bobb opened the scoring for Norway 20 minutes in, but the Czechs did not have to wait long for their leveller, as a swift break ended with Souček crossing for Zima to head home.

Into the second period and the away side stunned their hosts five minutes from time, when Fiorentina midfielder Antonín Barák fired a free-kick into the top corner.

Souček played the 90 minutes, collecting his 67th senior cap for his country, who will next take on Armenia in another friendly in Prague on Tuesday.

Nayef Aguerd wins a header in Morocco's game against Angola

Meanwhile, Nayef Aguerd played the full game as Morocco defeated Angola 1-0 in a friendly encounter.

The Atlas Lions are preparing for their next bout of FIFA World Cup qualification matches in June and won the meeting in Agadir, western Morocco, thanks to an own goal from David Carmo 18 minutes from time.

Aguerd helped his side to a clean sheet on his 40th international cap, and now will hope for another friendly win when Morocco take on Mauritania, also in Agadir, on Tuesday.
