Fantasy Premier League - Gameweek 24 hints and tips

West Ham United continue their 2023/24 Premier League campaign against Arsenal on Sunday.

The Hammers' most-recent victory came against Sunday’s opposition in late December, when goals from Tomáš Souček and Konstantinos Mavropanos secured a well-deserved 2-0 win in north London.

And the Irons will be yearning for a return to winning ways at London Stadium this coming weekend.

West Ham have not lost to Arsenal in their last three head-to-head meetings, so there are plenty reasons for Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers to cast an eye over Hammers players, as plenty of individuals will be looking to offer that degree of much-needed magic and extend that run to four.

The Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Gameweek 24 transfer deadline is set for 11am on Saturday 10 February, ahead of a mouth-watering weekend of Premier League football highlighted by a Sunday afternoon derby in east London.

On whufc.com, we’ll be giving you tips and tricks and Hammers to watch across the season and, this weekend, all eyes are on Ben Johnson!

Johnson continues to impress!

It’s safe to say it has been a pretty impressive 2024 so far for Academy of Football graduate and FPL bargain Ben Johnson (£4.4m).

The full-back has become an important utility player for David Moyes’ men since the turn of the year and has been a constant attacking threat down the right-hand side, whether that be from full-back or the advanced position he took up at Manchester United time out.

Johnson made his debut against Manchester City in 2019 and has since established himself as a regular first-team squad member – he is just three short of his 100th Hammers appearance.

Johnson has only registered 10 points in FPL this season, but with regular starts and a more attacking role handed to the 24-year-old in recent weeks, he could prove to be a touch of value in West Ham’s upcoming fixtures.

Following Sunday's visit of the Gunners, West Ham travel to Nottingham Forest (Fixture Difficulty Rating 2) and Everton (FDR 2) and host Brentford (FDR 3) and Burnley (FDR 2), meaning Johnson could quickly increase his FPL points tally in February and March.

Bukayo Saka

Opposition to watch

One player to pick out for Arsenal is England winger Bukayo Saka (£9.0m). The midfielder has picked up 19 points across his latest two outings against Nottingham Forest and Liverpool.

Further back, the versatile Ukrainian Oleksandr Zinchenko (£5.2m) has made his mark for the Gunners in recent weeks. He assisted Gabriel Jesus in Arsenal’s Nottingham Forest win, while collecting six points for an impressive display against Crystal Palace.
