Rosie Jones visits West Ham United to celebrate International Day of Persons with Disabilities

To celebrate International Day for Persons with Disabilities (IDPD), comedian, Rosie Jones visited West Ham United Women's training ground, Chadwell Heath and met forward, Claudia Walker and West Ham United Disabled Supporters Board (DSB) member, Trevor Bright. 

IDPD, which this year takes place on Saturday 3 December, is a day recognised around the world to promote inclusivity, empowerment and create opportunities for people with disabilities. 

Jones, who has cerebral palsy, was making her second visit to Chadwell Heath, having first met the team in December 2021. 

Walker, who joined West Ham United in the summer of 2021, has Symbrachydactyly, a congenital abnormality, characterized by limb anomalies consisting of brachydactyly, cutaneous syndactyly and global hypoplasia of the hand or foot.
