After eleven seasons and 369 appearances in all competitions, Aaron Cresswell will bid farewell to West Ham United upon the expiry of his contract at the end of next month.
The 35-year-old has enjoyed an incredible career in Claret and Blue, that has yielded the 2015 Hammer of the Year award and a 2023 UEFA Europa Conference League winner’s medal, as well as eleven goals and 37 assists.
Having opened his goalscoring account for the Irons with a smart finish against Newcastle United at Boleyn Ground in November 2014, Cresswell notched eye-catching free-kicks against the likes of Stoke City and Manchester United in the Premier League, before netting his final strike for the Club at home to SC Freiburg in the Europa League round of 16 in March 2024.
When not etching his name on the scoresheet, the three-times capped England international was always on the lookout for a teammate in a dangerous position, and he and his potent left foot indeed set up several crucial goals, including two en route to Conference League glory.
