West Ham United can confirm that Crysencio Summerville has undergone successful surgery on his hamstring injury. The Dutch winger will now continue his rehabilitation at Rush Green with the Club’s medical team.
Summerville, 23, has been out of action since early January after sustaining a hamstring injury during Graham Potter’s first game in charge - the FA Cup third-round tie at Aston Villa. He then suffered a further setback during his initial rehabilitation period.
West Ham United Performance Director Richard Collinge said: “The surgery has gone well and Crysencio will now concentrate on his recovery and rehabilitation here at Rush Green, with the aim of working towards his return next season.”
Everyone at West Ham United would like to wish Crysencio a speedy recovery.
