West Ham United can confirm that Stephen Healy will leave his position as women’s team first-team coach upon the expiration of his contract on 30 June.
Having spent the previous ten years at Leicester City, Healy joined Rehanne Skinner’s backroom team in October 2024, and helped lead the side throughout an impressive 2024/25 campaign.
Indeed, the Hammers finished ninth in the Barclays Women’s Super League, with eight more points than in 2023/24, and set various Club records, including the most points and most wins at home in a single WSL season, as well as their biggest-ever win in the competition.
Women’s team manager Skinner said: “I would like to place on record my sincere thanks to Steve for his support and hard work throughout his time at West Ham United.
“Last season was a record-breaking campaign for us, and Steve’s experience and expertise was a real asset to the group - specifically with managing the players’ individual development programmes.
“Speaking on behalf of the whole team, I wish Steve nothing but the very best for the future.”
Healy added: “I would like to pass on my thanks to Rehanne, the staff and the players for what has been an incredible season. It has been a total privilege working with everyone at the Club and being part of the West Ham family, and I wish everyone success for next season and beyond.”
