West Ham United in Germany

In Pictures | Hammers get down to work in Deutschland

After a week of work at Rush Green, West Ham United’s pre-season quickly rolled onto Germany.

A late Saturday morning flight from London to Zürich saw the Hammers touch down in Switzerland in the afternoon, with those among the party, which included 29 players and 12 Academy of Football graduates, ready for a busy week ahead.

It was straight down to business for our men's first-team in the Black Forest of southern Germany, as they were soon out on the grass for a training session.

Head Coach Graham Potter and his staff put the players through their paces in the sun, with the focus being on running exercises and small-sided games to start off the camp, and even had some downtime to ride bikes around the campus.

Our photographers were on hand to capture the best moments from day one, and you can see what went on in the first session by flicking through our gallery below.
