Manuela Paví

Paví included in Colombia squad for Copa América Femenina warm-up clashes

West Ham United women’s team winger Manuela Paví has been called up to Colombia’s squad for a friendly double-header against Mexico ahead of the 2025 Copa América Femenina.

The 24-year-old, who made 26 appearances for the Hammers in her debut season in Claret and Blue last term, lit up the Barclays Women's Super League before featuring for her country in two friendly fixtures against South Korea in late May and early June.

With the Copa América set to begin in Ecuador on 12 July, Colombia are now ramping up their preparations, and Paví has duly re-grouped with her teammates as one of 23 players picked by boss Ángelo Marsiglia for two warm-up ties.

Having met up in Bogotá earlier this week, Las Chicas Superpoderosas have since travelled to Juárez, Mexico, where they will contest their first game against El Tri Femenil at 3am BST on Saturday 28 June. The teams are then scheduled to do battle again in Zacatepec five days later, at 12.45am BST on Thursday 3 July.

The Colombia squad will return to Bogotá on Friday 4 July before kickstarting their final bout of training for the Copa América on Monday 7 July, with their tournament due to get underway in Quito against Venezuela (Thursday 17 July, 1am BST), ahead of further Group B matches against Paraguay (Sunday 20 July, 1am BST), Bolivia (Tuesday 22 July, 10pm BST) and Brazil (Saturday 26 July, 1am BST).

Paví, who netted three times for the Irons in a record-breaking 2024/25 campaign for the women's team, has 29 caps for Colombia after making her international debut in November 2019.
