West Ham United ended an 18-year wait for a Premier League victory at Manchester United by defeating the Red Devils 2-0 on Sunday afternoon.
Not since Carlos Tevez completed the Great Escape in 2007 had a Hammers team triumphed in league action on the red side of Manchester, but Tomáš Souček and Jarrod Bowen struck either side of the break to put that right.
Mohammed Kudus was the provider for Souček's 26th minute opener, making space on the left hand side of the penalty area and driving in a low cross for the No28 to convert.
Then, 12 minutes into the second period, captain Bowen was on the spot to convert his 12th goal of the campaign, making it 2-0 from former Red Devil Aaron Wan-Bissaka's cutback.
