West Ham United is delighted to confirm the appointment of Linus Kandolin as a men’s first team goalkeeper coach.
The 34-year-old arrives at the Hammers from Swedish club IF Elfsborg, where he spent six years as goalkeeper coach, during which time he was also on the coaching staff for the Sweden U21 national team.
Kandolin’s move to east London will see him team up again with Hammers Head Coach Graham Potter, whom he worked for at Östersunds FK between 2015 and 2018.
Kandolin will reunite with Potter and meet up with his new colleagues next week when the first team squad return to Rush Green for pre-season training.
Everyone at West Ham United would like to welcome Linus and his family to the Club and wish him every success in his new role.
