Hammers fly to the US for the Premier League Summer Series

West Ham United flew to the United States on Wednesday afternoon for an unforgettable 12-day, three-match and three-city trip that will see them compete in the 2025 Premier League Summer Series.

Head Coach Graham Potter, his backroom team, players - including new signings El Hadji Malick Diouf and Kyle Walker-Peters - and Club staff gathered at Heathrow Airport for the little-under eight-hour flight to New York, from where they will travel to their first base in New Jersey, where they will contest their first match against Manchester United on Saturday 26 July.

Following the mouthwatering clash against the Red Devils at the venue for the 2026 FIFA World Cup final, the 82,500-capacity MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, Potter's squad will head to the 61,500-capacity Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois, to face Everton on Wednesday 30 July, before completing an exciting hat-trick of matches by taking on AFC Bournemouth at the 71,000-capacity Mercedez-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, which is also a host city for next year's World Cup, on Sunday 3 August. The iconic host stadia are home to the NFL’s New York Giants and Jets, Chicago Bears and Atlanta Falcons respectively.

Tickets for all three matches remain on General Sale HERE, with supporters now able to save 20% on select seats by using the code PLSS20.

We are really looking forward to meeting our supporters and playing in front of them against Premier League opponents to continue preparing for the 2025/26 season

Besides building up their match sharpness in training and match action during their time across the Atlantic, the Irons will also spend time meeting supporters and immersing themselves in the local community and culture while in New Jersey, Chicago and Atlanta.

From pre-match parties and Q&A evenings to a matchday ‘Sailgate’ cruise, there’s something for every Hammer making the Claret and Blue journey across the pond. The tour of the US marks the next stepping stone in preparation for the 2025/26 Premier League campaign, and Potter - who is enjoying his first pre-season in charge of West Ham - is looking forward to all the on and off-pitch action ahead over the coming days, following last week's productive training camp in Germany.

He said: “We've had two really positive weeks since we've been back. From day one, when we had a really good meeting with the staff, then working with the boys at Rush Green, and then off to Germany, which was a really good week.

“Now, we go to the USA, and we just want to build on what we've done. It’s going to be slightly different in terms of more games, more tactical focus, more playing matches, recovery, travelling, recovering, but at the same time, there'll be time to work and there'll be time to build on the culture and environment.

“I’m aware that we have a very dedicated, passionate and growing fanbase in the US, who often get up in the early hours to follow our matches. We are really looking forward to meeting our supporters - as well as potential new Hammers fans and the people and communities of New Jersey, Chicago and Atlanta - and playing in front of them against Premier League opponents to continue preparing for the 2025/26 season.”

West Ham kick-off the new Premier League campaign away to Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Saturday 16 August at 3pm BST.

In the meantime, we will be bringing you daily updates from the USA as West Ham eye success in the Premier League Summer Series!
