Ylinn Tennebø put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half year deal at West Ham United on Friday 30 January, signing from Toppserien side Vålerenga.
The 26-year-old, who can play on the left and right side of defence, enjoyed plenty of success with Vålerenga, winning back-to-back league titles in 2023 and 2024 and the Norwegian Women's Cup in 2021, as well as playing in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Tennebø’s career started at Tornado Måløy on the west coast of Norway before she moved to Kaupanger when she was 16. She was rewarded with her first professional contract at Avaldsnes in 2019 and two years later, joined Vålerenga, where she made more than 100 appearances in all competitions for the Oslo-based club.
Tennebø also has experience on the international stage, having represented Norway at U16, U17 and U23 level.
