Chris Pipe was appointed as West Ham United women’s team assistant manager on 21 June 2026.
Pipe moved into the role having served as the team’s goalkeeping coach since August 2023.
A UEFA A Licence holder, Pipe attended Brittons Secondary School in Rainham and Havering Sixth Form College before kicking-off his coaching career while still a teenager with Euro Dagenham FC in 2005.
Pipe worked as a community and development coach for Tottenham Hotspur, and as an Academy Foundation goalkeeping coach at Dagenham & Redbridge and Academy goalkeeper coach at Millwall, Watford and Arsenal.
In 2021, he was appointed as Women’s first-team goalkeeping coach at Tottenham before taking on twin roles with the FA as Women's U23 goalkeeping coach and national goalkeeping coach developer in 2022.
