Preston Fearon is a talented midfielder who signed from Chelsea as an Under-15 in 2021.

Fearon signed scholarship terms ahead of 2023/24 campaign, having impressed with his technical ability, attitude and work-rate during his time at Chadwell Heath.

Despite missing most of his first year as a scholar through injury, Fearon was named captain for the 2024/25 season. After an impressive first half of the season with Lauris Coggin's U18s, Fearon was promoted to the U21s set up at Rush Green Training Ground, making his development side debut in a 2-2 Premier League International Cup draw against SL Benfica B.

Fearon stepped back into the U18s team for their Premier League Cup campaign where he registered five assists in five appearances as Coggin's side went on to win the tournament for the very first time and was named Dylan Tombides Award and Doris Bell Trophy winner in May 2025.

Just a few months later, Fearon travelled with the first-team squad on their pre-season tour of the United States, catching the eye as a second half substitute in a Premier League Summer Series game against Manchester United.

With his first senior minutes under his belt, Fearon returned to the U21s to continue his development where he made 37 appearances throughout the 2025/26 campaign - more than any other player - missing just one game due to suspension.

The young midfielder - who hadn’t scored any goals at U18s level - reached double figures, helping the development side to the National League Cup final, the EFL Trophy round of 16 and the Premier League 2 play-off quarter-finals.

His standout season saw him called up to the Young Lions squad for the first time, making his youth international debut for England U20s - a year above his age group - in a 3-3 draw against Italy in Rome.
