Academy of Football graduate Ezra Mayers is a speedy left-sided defender who can play at left-back or centre-back.
With West Ham United since the age of nine, Wanstead-born Mayers won the Dylan Tombides Award as the Academy's outstanding scholar in 2023/24.
An U18 Premier League Cup winner in 2024/25, Mayers joined the first-team squad in 2025/26 and made his senior debut as a substitute in a 1-1 Premier League draw at Brighton & Hove Albion in December 2025.

Appeared in EFL Trophy group-stage ties at MK Dons and Reading and started the round of 32 win at Colchester United...Scored in a 2-2 Premier League 2 draw at Arsenal on 4 October 2025...Made his first-team debut for West Ham United as a substitute in a 1-1 Premier League draw at Brighton & Hove Albion in December 2025...Appeared as a substitute in Premier League fixtures at Manchester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers and home to Brighton and Nottingham Forest either side of Christmas and the New Year.

Named in his first senior squad for the Premier League fixture against Arsenal on 30 November 2024...Started 19 out of 20 Premier League 2 fixtures for the U21s...Started both Premier League 2 play-off ties against Sunderland and Manchester United...Started all three EFL Trophy group-stage ties...Started National League Cup ties against Sutton United, Ebbsfleet and Dagenham & Redbridge...Appeared against Olympique Lyonnais B and Borussia Moenchengladbach II in the Premier League International Cup group stage...Started the FA Youth Cup third-round defeat at Grimsby Town...Made 31 appearances in all competitions for the U21s and U18.
