Centre-back Reon Smith began his scholarship at the Academy of Football in July 2026.
Smith joined West Ham United in November 2020 at the age of eleven.
He made his U18 Premier League South debut when he started an 8-2 win at Ipswich Town on 1 November 2025, his 16th birthday. He would go on to make eleven U18 Premier League South appearances in 2025/26, nine of them starts.
Born in Newham in east London, Smith has opted to play his international football for Jamaica.
