An exciting, high energy midfielder, Martin Peychev joined the Academy of Football at U9s and, after continuing to develop his game, signed his scholarship in the summer of 2025.

Peychev scored eleven goals for the U16s during the 2024/25 season, a campaign which also saw him make his U18s debut in a 4-1 league victory over Reading, and feature on the bench in the FA Youth Cup.

A modern day box-to-box midfield player who is comfortable on the ball, Peychev has represented both Bulgaria - on his father’s side - and Hungary - on his mother’s side - at youth level.

Peychev ended the season on five goals and two assists in all competitions and an U17 Premier League Cup winners medal having featured in all six games as our young Hammers lifted the title at Wham Stadium following a 3-2 win over Blackburn Rovers.
