A tall, elegant centre back who loves defending, Montague first joined the Academy at U9s before leaving and rejoining ahead of the 2024/25 season.
Montague made his U18s debut in January 2025, coming on in the final minute in a 3-1 defeat at Arsenal, and started the final three games of that season for the U18s.
He continued that progress making 25 appearances for the U18s in his first year as a scholar and also featured in all six U17 Premier League Cup ties, assisting the winning goal in the final against Blackburn Rovers.
