Gerard Prenderville was appointed as First-Team Coach by Nuno Espírito Santo in October 2025.

Prior to moving into professional football, Prenderville worked in a special needs school, where he began his coaching career.

He joined the Academy of Football and has worked his way up, working in the Youth Development Phase with U12-U16 players before being promoted to the Professional Development Phase, where he coached U17s-U23s.

Prenderville was a valuable part of the West Ham United U18s coaching team in 2022/23, when Kevin Keen’s side won the FA Youth Cup and U18 Premier League South double, and has played an integral role in the development of a number of future first-team players.
